An actor’s job is not easy at all and with roles that need special training, research, practice, rehearsals and more, the job just gets even more challenging. Here is what Manjari Fadnnis has to say about how she prepared to play the role of a Mrunal Kamath in The Freelancer.

Talking about how she prepared for her role, Manjari Fadnnis says, “Preparing to play the character of Mrunal was a very interesting journey for me. Apart from the usual work that I do for any character that I play, I had to do some research, especially for this one because Mrunal has been undertaking treatment for some years for a mental disorder. I did a little research about dissociative disorder, & how it affects a person’s mental state and the trauma a person undergoes. The research beforehand helped me to understand what kind of an emotional state the character went through.”
